Sponsor the Persian New Year Festival
Persians, community, music, food and fun – that’s what makes the Persian New Year Festival special!
But we couldn’t do it without you, the sponsors. Your belief in and financial support of this very important cultural festival could enable it to grow and prosper. By sponsoring, in addition to helping draw people to the Scottsdale Waterfront for a day of family cultural fun, you’ll put your company’s name in front of thousands of people; those in attendance and those who follow us on social media or the festival website.
Persian New Year Festival, Inc., is an event hosted by Arizona Persian Cultural Center and by Iranian American Society of Arizona a 501(c)(3) public charity. All sponsorships are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Students Supporting Brain Tumor Research (SSBTR).
Since its modest beginnings in 2002, SSBTR has grown exponentially. It is the largest student-run non-profit in Arizona. As an organization, their mission is to provide education and leadership development to the youth, furnish a platform for them to play a principal role in effecting positive changes in their communities, promote awareness of how common brain tumors are as the leading cause of cancer deaths among their peers and act as outreach to support affected individuals and their families.
The centerpiece of this student-run non-profit is its annual Cure-a-thon in Scottsdale, Arizona which serves as a vehicle towards raising support for brain tumor research through soliciting donations and enhancing community and corporate involvement. The 2019 Persian New Year Festival is on Saturday, March 9 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on the Scottsdale Waterfront.
